In the Seattle Battle two pairs were set up at the same time, would it be possible to have two tables and set up two while the other two are playing?
In the Seattle battle there were 16 contestants, 15 battles, all single elimination. With only 8 contestants have you thought of a double elimination contest? This would allow each contestant to play at least twice and would only take 14 battles, and would include a consolation battle for 3rd and 4th.
B#= Battle, L#=Loser of B#, W#=Winner of B#
First Round B1- A vs B B2- C vs D B3- E vs F B4- G vs H
First Losers elimination B5- L1 vs L2 B6- L3 vs L4
Second Round B7- W1 vs W2 B8- W3 vs W4
Second Losers elimination B9- W6 vs L7 B10- W5 vs L8
Third Round B11- W7 vs W8 (Single elimination winner) B12- W9 vs W10 (Loser= fourth place)
Finals B13- L11 vs W12 (Loser= third place) B14- W11 vs W13 (first and second place)
