hey guys, I just found this page recently, and it looks like although this a relatively new thing, the community is pretty strong. I've done a lot of improvisation before on my computer, but never competitively, and I'm in an area where there isn't, to my knowledge, much of a scene. I was wondering what kind of techniques people use, and what is actual improv, and what is prepared. Like, there are turntablists I know of that can rip it up, play cool shit, and rock a party, but they wouldn't be up to battling. If any of you want to discuss techniques, that's cool, or if you have video or audio samples of an actual battle so I could get an idea of what exactly goes down, i'd appreciate the hook up.
Thanks
