Hey. I just got my new computer in the mail like 2 days ago. It bought a Toshiba Satellite P4 3.2Ghz 1G RAM. so far its tight as hell. Beats the hell out of my old desktop where I could only run Ableton with like 5 midi tracks at the most. Now I can actually make a full live set in one file instead of having to switch after every song. Plus now I dont have to lug my comp and monitor every where I go (at this point it has only been 3 shows) but from now on I will only need to bring this nifty little notebook. Later. Max.

curious why you went with the P4 instead of a centrino chip. i heard the P4 laptop does not actually run at the advertized clock speed because of heat issues. I recently bought a satellite m45 with the centrino chip 1.6ghz and it pwns. anyway, toshiba makes a pretty nice little machine. i love mine. like, totally, i love it. like i want to hump it sometimes like close the screen on my wiener and hump. ok i don't actually hump it.. much.. anymore...

I just got me a compaq presario with an amd sempron 1.8 ghz, i believ.....I heard centrino was actually a dual chip, but that was from an office depot tech in silverdale, so the source is in question. The pimple-infused tech did sway me enough, i guess. Finally, after 2 years of being an inactive artist, I can finally compete in laptop battles!
